Quantum Healing Hypnosis Technique

QHHT and Dolores Cannon

Quantum Healing Hypnosis Technique (QHHT) is a holistic healing method developed by the late Dolores Cannon, hypnotherapist and author.  Dolores was born on April 15, 1931 and started her career as a traditional hypnotherapist in the 1960s, using traditional hypnosis techniques to help clients with various issues.

While working with clients, Dolores started to discover that some individuals were accessing what seemed to be memories of past lives during their hypnosis sessions. This was a significant revelation and marked a shift in her therapeutic approach.

She noticed that, in addition to past life memories, clients were also accessing a deeper level of consciousness, often described as the “Subconscious” or “Higher Self.” This part of the individual seemed to hold profound wisdom and healing capabilities.

Dolores Cannon refined her techniques to deliberately access this higher state of consciousness during hypnosis sessions. She developed a structured process that involves guiding clients to a deep state of relaxation and connecting with their Subconscious or Higher Self to gain insights, answers and healing.

The official Quantum Healing Hypnosis Technique name is used to describe her unique approach to hypnotherapy. The term “Quantum” reflects the idea that healing can occur on multiple levels, including physical, emotional and spiritual.

She dedicated a significant part of her later career to teaching QHHT worldwide to share her methods and insights and her many books also document some of the fascinating sessions and experiences she encountered during her decades-long career.

Even after her passing in 2014, QHHT remains a unique and widely practiced form of hypnotherapy, emphasizing the connection with the Higher Self for profound healing and insights. Her daughter Julie continues her mother’s legacy and work to this day.
